Memory is the mental reliving of past events and experiences. The video work was created over a period of eight hours, during which moving images were recorded with a photo trap camera. This camera is normally used for surveillance (photo/video) of wild animals, both for hunting and for biological field research. The camera is capable of recording 90-second videos and is triggered by a heat and motion sensor. The person in the tree wears a morph suit, giving the viewer the impression that the experience is coming at them like a video game character. The series of eight videos narrates the transition from the memory of a child 'climbing a tree' to a video game. The more time passes, the more it transforms into a video game.
